AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Track and Field thrower Tripp Piperi received votes for the Bowerman preseason watch list as announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday.
The Woodlands, Texas, native closed out the 2021 season as the runner-up in the shot put at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. After competing in just one meet prior and winning the Big 12 Championships in the shot put for the seventh time in his career, Piperi ended his senior season with his sixth USTFCCCA All-American honor.
